On Sunday 14 September, the exceptional Resonance Golf Collection courses hosted the final stage of the Resonance Golf Ecology Trophy in the heart of Provence. Combining conviviality, prestige and commitment to the environment, the day brought together 72 passionate players in a unique natural setting at the Golf Bastide de la Salette.
The event perfectly illustrated the philosophy of the Resonance Golf Collection: to offer a premium golfing experience while promoting biodiversity and the richness of our ecosystems.
A welcome marked by sharing and eco-responsibility
From 8:00 am, participants were welcomed with a friendly cup of eco-friendly coffee from Henry Blanc, a local family brand and partner of La Bastide de la Salette. This convivial moment was also an opportunity to give each player an original tee gift:
- an eco-friendly ball, collected and reconditioned after being recovered from the Sainte Baume Golf Course lake,
- as well as an innovative biodegradable tee, made from coffee grounds by a committed member.
This start immediately set the tone for the day: a combination of sport, respect for the environment and the pleasure of sharing.
The shotgun start and the magic of the green and white dress code
At 9:00 am sharp, the shotgun start signalled the start of the competition. In keeping with the spirit of the Trophy, the 72 participants were invited to wear green and white, symbols of elegance and respect for nature. This aesthetic touch added to the festive and refined atmosphere of the day.

Unique workshops to celebrate biodiversity
Throughout the course, several activities punctuated the competition, highlighting the strong link between golf, sharing and ecology:
- Hole No. 3: meeting with Stéphane, the beekeeper at Golf Bastide de la Salette
A passionate and knowledgeable teacher, he shared his expertise on beekeeping and the floral richness of the Provençal scrubland. His hives, located behind hole 3, produce authentic thyme honey, a true reflection of our terroir. - Holes 8 and 14: eco-friendly buffets and opportunities for discussion
The golf course managers welcomed participants with refreshment buffets. More than just a gourmet break, it was an opportunity to discuss biodiversity, environmental management of the courses and the clubs’ commitment to more sustainable golf.

A fun and informative quiz
At the end of the games, an interactive quiz was planned to test participants’ knowledge of ecology and sustainable golf. Despite a few technical glitches, the quiz was finally conducted live by Richard Stanislas, director of Golf Sainte Baume, in a friendly atmosphere.
Here are a few examples of the questions asked:
- In what year(s) did Golf Bastide de la Salette obtain the Silver label and Golf Sainte Baume the Bronze label?
- Why is it essential to preserve refuge areas on a golf course?
- How many species of fauna and flora have been recorded in total on the Bastide de la Salette and Sainte Baume golf courses?
The informative answers allowed everyone to leave with new knowledge about the positive impact of nature conservation at the heart of golf.
A prestigious and committed awards ceremony
The day ended with an elegant and convivial awards cocktail party, in keeping with the spirit of Resonance Golf Collection, and with the distribution of seed bombs from the local Marseille brand Grainette. Each winner thus left with the opportunity to extend the eco-friendly experience to their own garden.

Golf, nature and the art of living in Provence
This final stage of the Resonance Golf Ecology Trophy was much more than a competition: it was a celebration of the Provençal way of life, the pleasure of sharing golf with loved ones, and our clubs’ commitment to a more sustainable future.
The Golf Bastide de la Salette, nestled on the outskirts of Marseille, and the Golf Sainte Baume, a natural gem in the heart of the Var, embody this dual promise: to offer a premium golfing experience while promoting the natural heritage and biodiversity that make up the richness of the Resonance Golf Collection.
By combining prestige, sport and ecology, this day demonstrated that it is possible to experience golf in a different way: as a complete, immersive and responsible experience.
An event that perfectly illustrates Resonance Golf’s mission: to enhance the moment, reveal nature and create memorable experiences.
